The Kosovo Property Comparison and Verification Agency (KPCVA) informs the public that on July 11, 2024, in response to the property vacation notice sent to the respondent by the KPCVA, a property was voluntarily vacated by an illegal occupant in the North Mitrovica region.

Following the verification and confirmation by the KPCVA, Mrs. Afërdita Beka Arifaj, the Executive Director, handed over the property keys to the rightful owner.

This action is part of KPCVA ongoing efforts to ensure respect for property rights and fulfill its legal mandate.

The Kosovo Property Comparison and Verification Agency appeals to citizens to cooperate and voluntarily vacate properties illegally occupied, thereby ensuring their restitution to the rightful owners. Citizens’ cooperation is key to ensuring a fair and orderly process of property restitution and to avoid mandatory legal measures that may be taken in case of non-compliance with notices.
